Suspicious WhatsApp Call From Cameroon Number Posing Security Concern
On September 19, 2025, at 18:20, I received a WhatsApp call from a number starting with +237, which I later found belongs to Cameroon. This number is not saved in my contacts, nor have I ever had any communication with it. I also have no personal or business connections to Cameroon. After some research, I learned that such calls can pose potential security risks, and this situation has made me uncomfortable. I use WhatsApp on an Android device with the number 5442****57, and until now I have not experienced any issues with my account. I have also not contacted WhatsApp support about this yet. I request a clear explanation regarding this matter and demand that necessary measures be taken to prevent such suspicious calls from causing further security risks for users.
