I Face WhatsApp Video Call Connection Issue On iPhone 11 With One Contact

I use WhatsApp on my iPhone 11 with a Vodafone line in Istanbul/Sultanbeyli, and until yesterday I could regularly make video calls with a specific contact without any problem. Starting this morning, however, the video call no longer connects. The screen shows “Connecting,” but the call never starts.

What makes this issue unusual is that both I and the other person can make video calls with different contacts without any trouble. The problem occurs only between the two of us. To fix it, we both tried every recommended step: checking our internet connections, updating the app, restarting our phones, reinstalling WhatsApp, and even testing on other devices. Despite all these measures, the issue remains unresolved.

I already submitted feedback through WhatsApp, but I have not received a solution.

My Request

I am asking WhatsApp Support to:

Investigate why this connection problem exists only between two specific accounts.

Provide a clear explanation of the technical cause.

Deliver a permanent fix so I can resume video calls with this contact without interruptions.

This issue is blocking my ability to communicate effectively, and I expect urgent technical support and guidance.
