I Face WhatsApp Call Connection Failure On iPhone 11 After Latest Update

Since this morning, I have been unable to make WhatsApp calls with one specific contact. I am using an iPhone 11, and the other person is using an iPhone 16. Both of us have the latest WhatsApp version installed. When we try to call each other, the screen just shows “Connecting” endlessly, and the call never completes. It only stops when we manually close the app.
We both tested all possible fixes: deleting and reinstalling WhatsApp, restarting our devices, switching Wi-Fi and mobile data connections, and rechecking all app permissions. None of these actions worked. Importantly, the issue only occurs between us—we can make normal calls with other contacts, and other apps or regular phone calls work without any problem. There is also no blocking, no operator change, and no device issue.
This problem started immediately after the latest WhatsApp update, which strongly suggests a bug introduced in the new version.
My Request
I need WhatsApp to urgently investigate and confirm whether this is a known bug affecting certain iOS versions or device combinations.
Please provide a technical explanation and a timeline for when a fix will be released.
I request a temporary workaround if available so that I can resume essential calls without interruption.
This update-related issue is blocking critical communication, and I expect fast technical support and a permanent fix from WhatsApp.
