On September 24, I used WePDF to edit a PDF file and knowingly paid a one-time fee of $0.50. That transaction was clear, and I approved it. However, just a few days later, on September 27, I discovered that $49 had been withdrawn from my account without my knowledge or consent. I did not receive any notification or message about this charge, and I never gave approval for any subscription or recurring payment.
This unauthorized withdrawal happened without warning, and I did not receive any additional service in return for the $49 that was taken. I only wanted a single transaction, yet WePDF charged me for something I never requested. To make matters worse, there was no transparent option during the purchase process indicating that a membership would be started.
I am demanding the urgent cancellation of any hidden subscription and the immediate refund of the $49 that was wrongfully taken from my account. I also expect written confirmation that no further charges will occur. WePDF must correct this issue quickly and stop billing customers without their explicit consent.
