War Thunder Arcade Mode Has Serious Spotting and Minimap Bugs

While playing War Thunder on PC for approximately six months, I have been experiencing a serious issue in the “Arcade Battles” mode. Even when I can clearly see and aim directly at enemy tanks, the opposing vehicles are not properly spotted, do not appear correctly on the minimap, and cannot be reliably marked for my teammates.

This issue happens in almost every match and seriously damages the competitive balance of the game from my perspective. The problem is not limited to a single map or vehicle type — I encounter the same issue consistently across nearly all of my matches. Even though I have seen many other players reporting similar complaints, there has still been no noticeable improvement for a long time.

So far, I have not contacted the game’s support team because many players state that they never receive useful responses. However, I now want this issue to be officially acknowledged and corrected. I request that the spotting and enemy marking problems in War Thunder’s Arcade Battles mode be thoroughly investigated and properly fixed as soon as possible.
