War Thunder Has Become Pay to Win Because of Overpowered Premium Vehicles

February 5 8:01 PM

I have been playing War Thunder on PC for a long time, and recently the game has become heavily unbalanced because premium vehicles are clearly much stronger than free or standard vehicles. While the balance in the game used to feel much fairer in the past, over time the environment has turned into one where paid vehicles completely dominate gameplay, making the game feel almost entirely pay to win.

When playing with vehicles unlocked through normal progression or free gameplay, we constantly face significantly stronger premium vehicles purchased with real money. This situation seriously damages both the enjoyment of the game and the competitive experience. Because of this imbalance, having a fair match experience has become nearly impossible.

I already submitted my complaint through the War Thunder / Gaijin support system by opening a ticket, but I never received any response. The fact that player feedback is seemingly ignored is also extremely disappointing.

My request is that players using premium vehicles should primarily be matched against other players using similar premium vehicles, creating a fairer matchmaking environment for everyone. I want the game’s balancing system to be reconsidered in a way that protects competitive integrity, fairness, and overall player satisfaction within the community.
