VSCO Unfairly Charged for a Free Trial

21

When I saw that VSCO was offering a free 7-day trial of their app, I was excited. It seemed like the ideal opportunity to test out their features and determine whether it was worthwhile to subscribe. So, with great enthusiasm, I signed up for the trial. To my surprise, however, a hefty sum of 1499.99 was deducted from my account within moments of starting the trial! It was supposed to be free, but I ended up paying for something I didn't even get to use properly. I contacted their customer service right away, hoping for a quick resolution. They informed me that a refund was not possible, leaving me confused and angry. Why provide a free trial if they intend to charge me right away? They seemed to be playing with their customers, and their refusal to issue a refund only added to my dissatisfaction.
