Vrbo Host Doubles Price Before Trip, Customer Service Refuses Help

I made a reservation through Vrbo to celebrate my partner's birthday in a romantic setting near the vineyards of France. Surprisingly, a mere 72 hours prior to the scheduled reservation, the host decided to increase the price twofold. When I attempted to voice my concerns by contacting customer service, I was informed that they do not offer a service specifically for addressing complaints. How is that even possible? Do you not appreciate customer feedback as an integral part of your commitment to customer satisfaction? In addition, they supported the host's position and stated that they were unable to provide assistance. I declined to accept the host's new price offer and insisted on receiving a refund. Now, the host insists they haven't received the payment, but I have the bank statement as proof of payment. It's an absolutely awful experience, and the customer service is abysmal. All I desire is to have my money refunded completely.
