Vodafone's False Promises and Overcharging on Data Plan Change

11

On June 9th, I switched to Vodafone's Red Happy plan, expecting to pay 109 TL for the first year of service and 164 TL for the following year. When I called the customer service number, the representative estimated that I would pay around 300 Turkish Lira. Why had we agreed to a 24-month contract in the first place? Vodafone is undoubtedly attempting to mislead us. I'm canceling my contract with Vodafone and switching to a different GSM provider as soon as the final payment for the device I've been leasing is made. This is a textbook example of deceiving customers by making unattainable promises. My sincere recommendation is that you avoid Vodafone!
