My Vivo Y22s Has a Defective Headphone Jack and Dead Pixel but No Replacement Offered
I bought a Vivo Y22s and soon discovered it had a factory defect—the headphone jack doesn't work at all. Because I usually use Bluetooth headphones, I didn’t notice the issue right away. On top of that, the phone’s screen has a dead pixel. These are clearly manufacturing faults, not caused by me, so I requested a replacement. But because more than 6 months have passed, Vivo flat-out refused to replace the device. All they offered was a repair service, hiding behind the law instead of standing by their product.
What made everything worse was how disorganized and unqualified customer service was. One representative told me one thing, another did something completely different. When I asked to send my phone to the nearest authorized service center—since I live in Balıkesir and expected it to go to Izmir—they gave me a cargo code that directed it to Antalya Muratpaşa instead. That’s not just inconvenient; it shows they’re not even trying to solve the problem properly.
