I downloaded the VivaVideo mobile app on my iPhone on March 10 after seeing that it offered a 7-day free trial. I started using the trial without encountering any clear approval or confirmation screen. However, on the third day of the trial (March 12), I noticed that an annual subscription fee of $72 was charged to my card without my consent or any explicit notification.
The charge appeared on my statement as Apple.com/bill and was deducted from the card registered to my Meta account. I have already filed a dispute with my bank and also contacted Apple Support regarding this issue. I only intended to test the app, and being charged such a high annual fee before the 7-day trial even ended is extremely unfair and misleading.
I request that this unauthorized annual subscription be immediately canceled and that the $72 charged to my card be fully refunded.
