On 31.08.2025, I attempted to purchase a ticket for the Frankfurt – Galatasaray Champions League match through Viagogo. The ticket price was displayed as €37, but without any confirmation message or approval from me, my credit card was charged €1,100. This was done without my consent, and I have been struggling with this issue for nearly five days.
When I contacted Viagogo customer service to request a cancellation and refund, they refused, stating that tickets cannot be canceled or refunded. Instead, they suggested that I resell the ticket myself, which is not an acceptable solution. My bank has already started the dispute and card cancellation process, but they informed me that unless Viagogo reverses the transaction, the process could take up to 40 days. By then, the match date will have passed, leaving me with nothing but a financial loss.
My order number is 622249751. At the time of purchase, there were no visible warnings that the ticket was “non-refundable” or “non-changeable.” I demand the immediate cancellation of this transaction and the refund of the €1,100 that was unfairly taken from my card.
