Viagogo Sells Tickets With False Information
We purchased 4 tickets for the Efes vs. Panathinaikos match from Viagogo, and after completing the purchase, we realized they sold us tickets from a completely different source. The tickets we received incorrectly stated the match date as Thursday, May 1, 2025, whereas the official match date is actually Friday, May 2, 2025. The match will take place in Istanbul. Based on the incorrect date provided on the ticket, we made hotel reservations in Istanbul for Thursday, May 1, 2025. However, since the official match date is Friday, May 2, our hotel reservation was made incorrectly. Unfortunately, the hotel refuses to change the reservation dates, stating they are fully booked on Friday. Due to the error on the ticket, our hotel booking is now invalid. We requested that Viagogo either cover our hotel expenses or refund the tickets, but they have completely refused to address the issue or provide a refund. The customer service is extremely poor, and we consider Viagogo a terrible website.
