I scheduled an appointment for a tourist visa through the VFS Global France Ankara office on March 31, 2026, and completed the payment on the same day.
However, since my residence address is in İzmir, I was later informed that I could not proceed with the application through the Ankara office due to residency requirements, and that my application would not be processed.
On the same day, March 31, 2026, I submitted both a cancellation request and a refund form for my appointment. Despite this, a significant amount of time has passed, and neither my appointment has been canceled nor has any refund been issued to me.
My appointment/application number is FRR24130053724. Throughout this process, I have only been able to communicate via email. Even though they clearly stated that my application could not be processed due to my residency, no concrete action has been taken regarding the refund.
If the Ankara office cannot provide service due to my İzmir residency, then my cancellation and refund request submitted on the same day should have been processed just as quickly.
I request that my appointment be canceled immediately and that the full amount paid for application number FRR24130053724 be refunded to me without any deductions.
