For the past 14 days, my Vestel NF655 X refrigerator has been out of service due to a gas leak problem. During this time, the refrigerator has not been working at all, which caused many of my groceries to spoil. The authorized service visited and confirmed the issue in a written report.
Instead of offering a direct replacement, they proposed a 50% discounted deal on a new fridge. However, the model they suggested—Vestel FD56011 ex 20268114—is smaller in capacity, does not match the features of my current refrigerator, and was quoted at ₺29,350. This does not feel like a fair or equivalent solution, considering my refrigerator was still under warranty when the failure occurred.
I believe Vestel should take full responsibility for this defect and provide a replacement unit with the same capacity and specifications as my current NF655 X model. Offering a smaller, different product under these circumstances is not acceptable. I expect this issue to be resolved quickly so that my household is not left without a proper refrigerator any longer.
