VakıfBank Sent Me an Unwanted Credit Card But My Salary Account Is Still Inactive

On August 22, 2024, the necessary documents were signed and handed over to the bank personnel who came to the company from VakıfBank Şişli Branch. Among the signed documents, there was no credit card application, and I specifically informed the bank personnel that I did not want one. However, the next day, I received a message from the bank stating, "Your credit card is at our branch; you can collect it from there." The bank sent the credit card I didn’t want to the branch the next day, but my salary account has still not been activated; it’s been 8 days. When I call customer service to explain the situation, they ask for the card PIN. When I try to perform transactions at the ATM, most of them don’t work. For the ones that do work, I get an error saying "Phone not registered," and I can't complete the transaction. When I go to the nearest branch, they say, "Since your documents haven’t been scanned into the system, there appears to be missing information. If you have 20-25 minutes, we can get your signatures again and enter them into the system." If there’s missing information, how was the credit card, which I didn’t sign for and explicitly said I didn’t want, sent to the branch the next day, but my salary account still isn’t activated? My salary has been deposited, but due to the bank’s inefficiency, I can't access my funds.

I called the call center, but since my phone was not registered and I did not have a password for any card, they said they could not process my request. They asked me to write "password" and send my card number to 5724, which I did, but I did not receive a response. When I went to the Vadi Istanbul branch, they told me that the documents had not been scanned and entered into the system, and that I would need to wait for them to be entered or re-sign the documents and have them scanned into the system, which would take at least 20 minutes. I didn't have time, and I don't understand why I need to re-sign the documents I already signed.
