VakıfBank ATM Error - My Money Withheld

On May 16, 2024, at 12:11 PM, a VakıfBank ATM malfunctioned during my transaction and withheld my money. I waited for 5 minutes, retrieved my card, but didn’t receive the ₺2500 I deposited. I stayed at the ATM and used my Ziraat Bankası card to withdraw an additional ₺1000 before leaving. I reported the issue to both my bank and VakıfBank, but was told I must wait 20 days for resolution. This is an unacceptably long time to wait. Why must customers be made to wait 20 days for what should be a straightforward resolution? The ATM is checked and maintained weekly; they should review the camera footage and resolve this promptly.
This delay is causing severe inconvenience as I have medical appointments for my children and cannot wait until the 5th of the month. Please address this issue urgently by reviewing the camera footage and providing my money. No customer should have to endure such delays.

To the Esteemed VakıfBank Istanbul Authorities, I am reaching out once again through this platform, as I have not received an honest and satisfactory response to my claim despite submitting two requests through official banking channels over the past month and a half. I implore you to operate with more integrity and fairness. Given that you have access to camera footage, I find it frustrating that I cannot get a proper response. So, I ask again: Why haven't you refunded my money for the past six weeks? With camera recordings available, why do you claim there's no excess cash in the till? Why don't you have more attentive employees? You don't have the right to cause such inconvenience to anyone. Please take the necessary action and return what rightfully belongs to me as soon as possible.
