My USD Balance Was Converted to TRY Without Consent by Uption

I trusted the Uption Card and loaded $2000 into my account, intending to use it for USD transactions. However, when I tried to make a purchase, the transaction failed multiple times. Then came the real shock, when I logged into my account, I saw that my USD balance had been automatically converted to Turkish Lira (TRY) without my consent, and without any SMS, email, or app notification. This caused me serious financial and emotional distress. I relied on Uption, but now I have no access to my USD funds and cannot use the TRY balance either. Worse still, I’m unable to convert the TRY back into any foreign currency, and transferring it to my bank via FAST incurs a fee of ₺544. When I contacted customer service, they hung up after saying, “We will call you back,” and never did—it felt like I was being mocked. This kind of unauthorized conversion without any notice is completely unacceptable and illegal. I demand an official explanation, restoration of my USD balance or a full refund, and compensation for the inconvenience and losses I have suffered. I will take all necessary legal action to resolve this.
