During a fake scholarship application under the name “Genciz Biz,” I was tricked into creating accounts on the Parolapara and Uption platforms. During the process, I was told to log into the apps using a phone number they provided, and later, I was asked to share my own IBAN number. Soon after, ₺110 was deposited into my account, and I was instructed to send back ₺100, which I did through my Ziraat Bank account.
I attempted to close my Parolapara account, but I was unsuccessful. When I contacted customer service, they asked me to send my ID and proof of residence via email, which I did — but I never received any response. I am also unable to close my Uption account.
I request that both of my accounts be permanently closed, that all of my personal data be completely deleted, and that I be informed of any transactions made under my name through these platforms. My registered email address for both Parolapara and Uption is h**********@outlook.com**. The Parolapara account was created on September 25, and the Uption account was opened on September 30.
I ask that my grievance be resolved urgently and that I be notified promptly once my accounts are deleted and my personal information is fully removed from your systems.
