UPS Failed the Delivery of Crucial Cargo from Bocconi University Milan
UPS Izmir, Turkey did not deliver my cargo which is very important and comes from Bocconi University in Milan. I understand they have tried twice which happens to be in the time interval when I was still in Milan. Although they claim to have called and tried delivery a third time, there was always a person in the delivery address, so it cannot be possible. They expect me to go and take it from their center which is out of nowhere. I do not have a car and it would be an enormous amount of Turkish Liras by Taxi. And what is more, I cannot be able to talk to them by phone and get an exact address as the customer service is located somewhere else and they can only give custom-made answers. I expect them to make home delivery as I have requested or send the parcel/diploma to another UPS office nearby.
UPS İzmir asked me to go to a place in an industrial area called the transfer center, which is not accessible by public transportation, to deliver my package. In the end, we requested a new document from the university and paid for it again in Euros. I hope they deliver this one. (They said they would bring it yesterday, so we didn't leave the house at all, but no one came.)
