Appeal For Banned Umingle Account
I am writing to appeal the sudden ban on my Umingle account, which occurred today, 9 July 2026, while I was using Umingle through an Android browser as a guest user. During a chat, a random user told me to type the phrase “m16” in the text box. I did not understand the meaning or implications of this phrase and, assuming it was a harmless response, I followed their instruction. Immediately after I sent this message, my account was automatically banned by the system. Afterwards I learned that this phrase is used as a malicious text trap to trigger underage or safety filters. I want to clearly state that my use of this phrase was entirely accidental and based on a misunderstanding, and that I had no intention of violating any community guideline or engaging in inappropriate behavior. Since I was using Umingle as a guest, I do not have a username or email linked to provide as a reference. However, the ban took place on 9 July 2026, approximately 10–25 minutes before I wrote this complaint, while I was connected via an Android browser, and I believe my usage records and chat logs will confirm that I have not engaged in harmful or underage activity. I kindly request that my account access be restored and that this automatic ban be reviewed in light of the context explained above. I would appreciate it if you could check the relevant chat records and system logs and remove this ban, as it arose from an innocent mistake rather than any malicious intent.
