Wrong Uber Route Cost Me Double and Made My Daughter Late for Class

On October 8, 2025, around 6:00 PM, I requested a ride through the Uber app in Antalya, just like I always do. I needed to take my daughter to Tunga Akademi Kung Fu Sports Center, and we had to be there by 6:30 PM. Normally, an Uber arrives within 3 minutes, but this time, I received the “no cars available” message three times in a row before finally finding a driver.
After getting into the car, I entered the destination into the app. However, even though the distance was only 2 km, we were stuck for about 45 minutes because the Uber navigation system sent us to the wrong location. This caused significant inconvenience and wasted valuable time. On top of that, I normally pay around ₺155 for this route, but this trip cost me ₺330. I couldn’t find a customer service number to call and was unable to get any support through the app.
I’ve never experienced an issue like this with Uber before. I’m requesting that this incident be reviewed, that the inaccurate navigation issue be fixed, and that measures be taken to prevent similar cases for other users in the future.
