Uber Driver in Istanbul Charged Me Twice, Cash and Card Payment

On September 26, 2025, between 5:00–6:20 PM, I took an Uber Taxi from Zeytinburnu to Istanbul Airport. Although I selected card payment at the start of the trip, the driver did not turn on the taximeter and instead demanded ₺2,000 in cash. On top of that, ₺2,075 was also charged to my card. The driver’s name was Muhammet, but unfortunately, I was not able to get the license plate number.

I contacted Uber customer service, but no solution was provided. This is the first time I’ve ever experienced such an issue, and I want my problem resolved.

I request a refund of the extra amount I was charged and for the necessary action to be taken against the driver involved.
