Uber Coupons Approved but Not Usable
I won two Uber discount coupons worth ₺500 each via Trendyol GO at around 11:10 on Thursday, May 14. Since these coupons were defined as valid only for new memberships, I did not use them on my existing Uber account. Instead, I opened a brand new Uber Turkey account in Adana, entered the codes there, and the system approved and defined the coupons without any issue. However, just as I was about to start a trip through the Uber Turkey app, I received a warning stating that the discount was not available. When I tried to use the same coupons on another device, I encountered the warning that the “usage limit has been exceeded.” These coupons were earned in full compliance with the rules, and they have never been used by me before, yet I am currently unable to benefit from them in any way. From what I can see, there is no problem on the Trendyol GO side, and the issue appears to be caused by Uber’s side of the integration or campaign definition. I also could not reach any clear Uber customer service channel or call center number, so I was unable to get direct support or a clear explanation about why the coupons are not working. I request that my two ₺500 discount coupons, which were correctly won and approved for my new account, be reactivated as soon as possible, or that equivalent coupons of the same total amount be defined to my Uber Turkey account so that I can use the discount I am rightfully entitled to.
