I Didn’t Get the Uber 60% Discount Despite App Promo—No Location Limits Were Shown

I noticed a prominently displayed 60% ride discount campaign on the main screen of the Uber app. There were no terms, limitations, or exclusions stated at the time—no fine print, no location restrictions. So I booked a ride thinking I would receive the advertised discount. To my surprise, no discount was applied at all.
When I contacted Uber support to resolve the issue, I was told the promotion was only valid in Antalya and Izmir. This crucial information was never disclosed anywhere on the promotional banner or during the booking process. That’s incredibly misleading and feels like a deliberate attempt to lure users into booking rides under false pretenses.
This kind of deceptive advertising causes both financial loss and wasted time. As a loyal user, I’m disappointed that Uber would roll out such a misleading campaign without properly informing its users. I demand that this issue be investigated and that my overpaid fare be refunded. Uber must take responsibility and ensure transparency in all future promotions to avoid misleading customers like this again.
