Uber Used My Higher Value Promo Code for a Short Ride

I had two promo codes from Uber, each from a different source. One offered a discount of up to ₺150 and was valid until July 15, while the other offered up to ₺250 and was valid until July 19. I took a short trip that cost less than ₺150. In this case, I expected the system to either apply the most suitable code based on the fare or, at the very least, use the one that was set to expire sooner. At the very least, I should have been given the option to choose. However, I saw that the ₺250 code was used for a ₺120 ride instead of the ₺150 one. This is neither fair nor reasonable. As a result, not only was a higher-value promo code used unnecessarily, but the one with a longer expiration date was also consumed. Now I’ll have to settle for a lower discount on my next trip and use it within a shorter timeframe.

On March 29, 2025, I took a ride with Uber and used a valid promotion that clearly reduced my fare to ₺267. However, the driver charged me ₺520 in cash—nearly double the amount shown in the app. This is not the first time I’ve encountered pricing inconsistencies with Uber, but this time it’s unaccep...
I recently used the Uber Taxi service and faced an overcharging issue due to the driver's route choice. During the ride, I noticed that the route taken was unnecessarily longer than the normal route. When I asked the driver why we took this route, he simply replied that he preferred it that way. On...

10 I used an Uber promotion code, and the app showed that my ride would be free. Based on that, I proceeded with the ride. However, after completing the trip, I was charged. It feels misleading to show something as free when it’s not. I’ve shared screenshots where the fare was displayed as ₺0, and anot...
On October 5, 2025, I took two separate Uber Taxi rides in Antalya — first from Muratpaşa to Konyaaltı, and then back on the same route (Konyaaltı to Muratpaşa). The first trip was 9.4 km and lasted 17 minutes, while the return trip was nearly identical — 9.6 km and 15 minutes. During the first rid...
I use Uber frequently, and I’m growing increasingly frustrated with the app’s inaccurate fare estimates. Recently, I requested a ride that was shown to cost between ₺140–₺160. However, I was charged ₺198 at the end of the trip. This isn’t the first time this has happened. Previously, when I reported...
