THY decided to separate from its own brand, Anadolu Jet. They made the decision but didn't consider the consequences beforehand.
Previously, they sold tickets under the Anadolu Jet brand and collected the money without any issues.
However, if your flight date is after the separation date of the companies, you're in trouble:
First, multiple flight time changes
Then, numerous flight number changes
Later, check-in issues due to system changes
You call THY customer service: "We don't know, we separated, it's not our concern," they say.
You call Anadolu Jet customer service: "We didn't handle the transaction, we don't know," they say.
People have jobs and responsibilities, but THY insists on causing inconvenience. I went to the airport, argued with the THY staff, and finally got the Anadolu Jet customer service number that can be reached from abroad. I called and completed my transaction.
But I lost an entire day, and my paid flight was wasted. It's a shame, you get paid so much, yet there's not a single person considering the changes and potential issues...!
