Turkish Airlines Refused My Refund After Tearing My Ticket
I am complaining about Turkish Airlines for tearing my ticket and refusing my refund. My flight to Sarajevo with Turkish Airlines was scheduled for March 29 at 19:30. Since I was told that online check-in was not possible, I got my ticket from the counter around 17:45. After my ticket was issued, the counter staff called me back, tore my ticket, and said they couldn't issue it because my gray passport had only 2 weeks left. In fact, due to the election, refunds were possible. However, since a ticket was created for me, I couldn't get a refund. If my passport was not valid because it was in its last month, then why issue the ticket in the first place? Due to the staff's mistake, I couldn't refund my flight. If they had told me my passport was not valid before issuing the ticket, I would have immediately requested a refund. I want a refund for the ticket. I couldn't refund my ticket due to an issue caused by them. When I provided feedback on their website, they said the responsibility for the passport was mine. However, I still had the right to cancel my flight even if my passport was invalid. This didn't happen because of the staff's mistake. They also don't accept their mistake.
