Turkish Airlines' Inconsistent Treatment for Disabled Passengers

Turkish Airlines provided my family with round-trip tickets from Antalya to Istanbul. We informed the airline about our need for wheelchair assistance for both the departure and return flights because my mother is a disabled patient who relies on a wheelchair. Surprisingly, no documentation was required for our flight from Antalya to Istanbul, and boarding went smoothly. However, on the way back from Istanbul to Antalya, we encountered a distressing situation. The airline staff flatly refused my mother's boarding, claiming she lacked a doctor's note. This sudden demand for a doctor's report, which had never been requested before our departure, was both confusing and concerning. Furthermore, because my father did not have a ticket to Antalya, they were forced to pay an additional 2000 TL to change their destination to Isparta. As a result, my disabled mother, younger brother, and father were forced to spend the night at the airport. They were finally able to fly to Isparta the next day. To make matters worse, our car broke down on my way to pick them up from Antalya, as a direct result of Turkish Airlines' poor handling of the situation. I am deeply concerned and dissatisfied with the financial and emotional toll this ordeal has taken on my family, including the 10,000 TL repair cost for our car, the additional payment for the changed ticket, and the incalculable distress my disabled mother endured at the airport.
