The THY Esenboga-Istanbul 22:55 flight started with a 10-minute delay before boarding, which extended to 1 hour, then 2 hours and 35 minutes, and finally to 5 hours. No announcements were made at Esenboga Airport for any of the delays, and no information was provided unless passengers asked the staff. Throughout this entire process, we did not receive proper responses to any of our questions, and no staff member made a genuine effort to find a solution. Additionally, no approach in line with passenger rights (such as water, hot drinks, light meals, hot meals, etc.) was exhibited until 3 AM. The staff's attitude was quite rude and unhelpful. Almost everyone was inconvenienced until nearly morning. Transfers to a different THY flight at 3:10 AM, which was supposed to depart before the delayed flight, were made arbitrarily. Those who booked tickets for that flight on their own and some with connecting flights were able to take off, but we were not allowed on that flight due to incorrect information given to us. The flight, which was claimed to depart at 3:55 AM, actually took off at 4:17 AM. After all this confusion and distress, we moved to the CIP lounge around 3 AM by paying ₺600 (I did not have to pay due to my elite card, but my friends had to). Despite having an elite card, I did not receive any support in the lounge. On the contrary, we were subjected to the disturbing behavior of the staff in the CIP lounge as well. Such an inconvenience from a major international company like THY is unacceptable.
