Turkish Airlines Did Not Honor Their Commitment

I purchased 4 tickets from Turkish Airlines on August 25, 2022, for a flight departing on September 3. Due to traffic, I arrived a bit late at Ordu Giresun Airport. Since there was only half an hour left for the flight, they did not let us in, and I was left stranded with my 3 children. They informed me that I could put the tickets on hold and use them within a year, until September 3, otherwise they would be forfeited. I opted to put the tickets on hold.

I did not receive any written confirmation regarding the duration for which I could use the tickets. Since I was told at the airport that I had until September 3, I planned accordingly and scheduled for September 1. However, they did not allow me to change the tickets to September 1.

They said they were considering the date of purchase, August 25, as the reference point. When I objected, they advised me to submit feedback. After receiving a response to my feedback, I called Turkish Airlines, and they told me to collect my tickets from their sales office.

I traveled for about 3 hours from Şebinkarahisar to their Giresun branch, only to be told that they do not sell tickets there and that I should go to the airport. When I went to the Ordu airport, they said my tickets had already expired and they couldn't help me. They practically mocked me.

This behavior is unworthy of Turkish Airlines. I spent 15 days trying to resolve this issue, being transferred to numerous places, each giving me different information. I was left in a difficult situation with my 3 children once again.
