We all experienced a pandemic that brought sadness worldwide, including in Turkey. Before the pandemic, I had purchased a round-trip ticket (2352432059370) from Kanata to Toronto. With the emergence of the pandemic, all flights were halted, and countries closed their borders. During this period, when entry and exit to countries were prohibited, the school in Canada where I was supposed to study informed me that they decided to suspend education due to the prolonged pandemic. Consequently, I was informed that my flight could be postponed, and the ticket could be kept open. Additionally, it was stated that I could use my flight rights later. However, due to my job position in Turkey, I will not be able to be in Canada. Therefore, I requested a ticket refund. During the postponement or keeping the ticket open, no detailed information was shared about the ticket. Due to this lack of information, I am currently experiencing a grievance. I have also provided feedback to your company with the reference number TK-5745969.
When I requested the cancellation of my ticket, I was told that it had expired, even though your company, THY, kept me waiting during this period. I am seeking resolution for the grievance caused by your company's lack of information and my inclusion in the waiting period against my will. In this regard, I request a refund of the ticket fee or the provision of flight rights to another country or city.
Despite writing and contacting multiple times, I have not received any positive response. I would like to inform you that if no positive response is provided, I will exercise all my legal rights. I am urgently awaiting a response.
