Ttec 20,000 mAh PowerSlim Powerbank Swells Catastrophically and Cracks Casing

I am filing this complaint regarding a severe and hazardous safety defect involving my Ttec 20,000 mAh PowerSlim LCD Powerbank. While the battery pack had occasionally exhibited minor swelling in the past, on August 14, 2026, the lithium-ion cell expanded catastrophically, exerting enough internal pressure to crack open and rupture the outer plastic casing.

This extreme distortion poses an immediate threat of thermal runaway, chemical leaks, or explosion. Although the retailer in Antalya where I originally purchased the device is now permanently closed, and despite the unit being past its standard warranty period, a battery swelling to the point of destroying its own chassis represents a critical product safety flaw—not standard wear and tear or user error.

Due to the serious danger this failure presents to personal safety and property, I demand that Ttec replace the defective power bank free of charge with a safe, functional unit and provide written assurance that the replacement model meets battery safety standards. I expect Ttec to treat this hazardous defect with urgency and contact me promptly.
