Trip.com Says My Air China Refund Was Sent but My Bank Shows Nothing

I purchased a flight ticket through Trip.com for an Air China flight for a total amount of approximately $1,098. Since my flight was canceled, I requested that my ticket also be canceled and that the payment be refunded. However, even though 10 days have passed, the money has still not been credited back to my account.

When I contacted Trip.com, they told me that the refund had already been issued. However, there is no refund transaction visible in my bank account. I have checked with my bank multiple times, and they clearly stated that there is no refund record or pending transaction for this amount. This has caused serious inconvenience because a high-value payment has still not been returned to me.

I request that Trip.com clearly explain the refund process for reservation number 1638321609617742. If the refund has truly been processed, I ask Trip.com to provide concrete proof such as a receipt, transaction reference number, or refund confirmation document. I also request that the approximately $1,098 refund be credited to my account as soon as possible.
