Trip.com Refused Refund After Canceling My Direct Frontier Airlines Flight
Through Trip.com, I purchased a one-way ticket for a Frontier Airlines flight scheduled for Saturday, June 20 at 11:34 a.m. under reservation number A9SH7Y. I paid approximately $275 for this ticket.
The flight I originally purchased was a direct (nonstop) flight. However, my flight was later canceled, and instead I was offered an alternative itinerary involving two connecting flights with a significantly longer total travel time.
Even though I clearly informed Trip.com that I did not accept this change, I was neither offered a reasonable alternative nor given the right to cancel the ticket without penalty and receive a refund.
When I contacted customer service, they simply stated that there was nothing they could do and failed to provide any meaningful assistance or solution regarding my customer grievance.
Because the direct flight I specifically purchased was canceled, I was unfairly forced toward a much longer and less comfortable journey while also being denied my right to cancellation and refund.
For this reason, I request that the approximately $275 ticket amount I paid through Trip.com for this Frontier Airlines booking be refunded to me fully and without delay.
