Trip.com Refund Stuck “In Progress” After Flydubai Flight Cancellation
I purchased flight tickets through Trip.com with Flydubai for March 6, 2026 (Istanbul–Dubai, flight FZ752) and March 10, 2026 (Dubai–Istanbul, flight FZ727), with reservation number 1653712602689494, for a total of $583. Despite the flights being canceled due to the war in the Middle East, my ticket refund has still not been processed.
When I log into my Trip.com account, the refund status only shows “refund in progress,” and this status has not changed for approximately two weeks. No additional documents, account details, or approvals have been requested from me. The process simply appears to be stuck at this stage without any concrete progress.
Even though the flights were canceled due to war, the refund process has taken far too long and no proper updates have been provided, leaving me in a difficult situation. I request that Trip.com complete the necessary process with Flydubai and refund the full $583 ticket amount to my account without any deductions and without further delay.
