Trip.com Fails to Issue Promised Refund After Flight Cancellation
We purchased tickets for two people through Trip.com for the Air Arabia flights G9715 and connecting G9321 on March 9, 2026, using a credit card. Due to issues with the flight route, we were advised to cancel our flight, and after speaking with customer service, we proceeded with the cancellation. During that call, we were clearly told that the refund would be processed within one week.
During the process, we were first told that our refund would be issued as a voucher and later could be converted into a cash refund. However, when we contacted customer service again, they neither converted the voucher into cash nor provided any clear solution. Instead, they repeatedly said, “Please wait, we will check for 2 minutes,” and then disconnected the call without any follow-up. The refund has still not been processed. If the call recordings are reviewed, it will clearly show the commitments that were made to us.
My reservation number is 1167727448576099. I request that Trip.com process the promised refund to my credit card as soon as possible and provide a clear, written explanation regarding this process.
