Trip.com Charges Cancellation Fee Despite Purchased Add-On Package

I purchased a Vueling Airlines ticket for a Rome–Barcelona flight on September 18, 2026, through the Trip app. To avoid any potential issues, I specifically purchased the add-on package that allows for cancellations and modifications.

However, I can neither cancel nor change the flight or date through the app, and I can't even see the current prices. When I proceed to the cancellation steps, I see that I am being charged a cancellation fee again, even though I already bought the add-on package. Not only am I unable to find a solution within the app, but I also cannot connect to customer service no matter what I try.

I refuse to accept being asked for another fee despite purchasing the extra cancellation/modification package. For my reservation number 1638323806108830, I demand the right to cancel or change my flight without any additional fees, in accordance with the conditions of the package I bought, and I expect this grievance to be resolved.
