I purchased a Casablanca–Sabiha Gökçen round-trip ticket with Air Arabia through Trip.com, reservation/reference number 89266478 and PNR 1638314981018259, for a return flight on 11 September. The ticket cost me 506€ in total.
When I tried to change the return date, the system demanded an additional 420€ change fee. This amount is almost equal to buying a brand-new ticket. No clear or transparent explanation was provided as to why such an excessive fee was applied, and I find this practice unfair and misleading.
Since 28 August, I have contacted Trip.com customer service four times, but each time I received unhelpful and generic responses. No one has given me a clear breakdown of the so-called penalty, fare difference, or service fees involved. As a result, I feel left without support and with no clarity on my ticket conditions.
I request that Trip.com provide a transparent, itemized breakdown of the 420€ charge, and that this excessive fee be reviewed and corrected. My expectation is that the change cost should be fair, proportionate, and consistent with the conditions communicated at the time of purchase. I demand that my financial loss be rectified without further delay.
