I purchased my January 29 AJet economy class flight ticket through Trip.com. I previously made one change to this ticket, and the fee charged at that time was reasonable and appeared to be in line with the airline’s rules. However, when I now attempt to make a second change, the system is requesting a fee that is significantly higher than what I paid for the first change, and the explanation for this increase is unclear. The amount being requested appears to calculate the airline’s change penalty and the fare difference for the new flight in a disproportionate and excessive manner. When I check similar dates and times, such a high price difference does not seem logical. During the ticket purchase process, the change conditions and potential costs were not clearly and transparently disclosed. I believe Trip.com’s automated system is generating the highest possible scenario for the fee, not refunding the previous change amount, and not applying a fair manual calculation. For this reason, I request that the change be processed at a reasonable and fair rate, based on the fee I previously paid for the first modification. Otherwise, I will exercise my legal rights as a consumer and escalate the matter to the relevant authorities.

Additionally, at the time of purchase, the change conditions and potential costs were not presented in a clear, transparent, and detailed manner. I therefore believe that Trip.com’s automated system is calculating the highest possible fee scenario without applying a fair manual review.
If this situation is not corrected, I will exercise my legal consumer rights and escalate the matter to the appropriate regulatory authorities.
