On June 25, 2025, I booked a room at Myblue Butik Otel Bursa via Trip.com and paid ₺3,200 in advance. Upon arrival, I was shown a dark, basement-level room that looked more like a storage area than a hotel room. I immediately informed the staff that the room was unacceptable, and they offered to move us to an upper-floor room—but only if we paid an additional fee.
I refused the unfair offer and decided not to stay at the hotel under these conditions. Despite not using the room at all, neither the hotel management nor Trip.com processed a refund. If the Trip.com listing had mentioned that the room was located in a basement and looked like a storage space, I would never have booked it and would have chosen a different hotel.
I reached out to Trip.com customer service and was told that the refund was being processed. I also contacted the hotel manager, Mr. E******, several times, but to this day, my payment has not been returned.
This situation has caused me both financial loss and emotional stress during my trip. I explicitly demand a full refund for the unused booking and a formal apology for the misleading room description and poor service.
