I Had to Pay £450 More After Travelup Canceled My Booking
I made a reservation with Travelup that was clearly indicated as available and even got an email confirming it. So I thought everything was ready to go. Then, all of a sudden, they called it off, saying the supplier had raised the price. Just like that—no actual apology, no other choice, nothing. This wasn't simply a small problem for me because I was traveling with my kid for a family wedding. It ruined all of our plans. The unfairness of it all is what really upsets me. They would have charged me costs without asking if I had canceled the reservation. But if they cancel, all they get is a refund and an apology for the trouble. No responsibility means no payment. Now I have to book the same place again, but for more than £450. Travelup really let me down.
