Toyota Corolla Axle Failure Not Covered Under 10-Year Warranty
My 2020 Toyota Corolla 1.8 Hybrid, with 156,000 kilometers, has recently started making a “clicking” noise from the suspension when turning. Because of this, I took the vehicle to the authorized Samsun Derindere Toyota service center. The service team stated that there is play in the axles and that both axles need to be replaced, quoting a repair cost of approximately $1,900.
However, when the issue was submitted for warranty consideration, I was informed that this failure is not covered under warranty. I have had all maintenance performed at authorized service centers, relying on Toyota’s “10-Year Warranty” promise. Given the issue I am experiencing now, I feel that this warranty promise does not hold true in practice.
I request that Toyota evaluate the axle issue identified in my vehicle under warranty and either cover the repair at no cost or provide a solution that adequately addresses my financial loss.
