My Toshiba TV Screen Failed After 3 Years, Disappointed With Quality and High Repair Cost

41

We chose Toshiba for our television, expecting no issues due to its reputation for quality. Unfortunately, within just 3 years, the screen started to fail. At first, we experienced a ghosting effect on the screen, and although we continued using it like that for a while, the screen eventually started going completely blank. When we turn on the TV, the display appears for a few minutes before completely disappearing.

The warranty period was 2 years, and the TV lasted just beyond that before the screen issue arose. Now, we’re faced with the dilemma of replacing the panel, which costs as much as a new TV. It's disappointing to see such a problem from a brand like Toshiba in such a short period. I hope Toshiba, known for valuing customer satisfaction and quality, will assist us in resolving this issue.
