I Report Denied Refund for SalamAir Ticket via Tickets.com.tr Despite Medical Documents

On July 17, 2023, I purchased a flight ticket to Thailand via Tickets.com.tr. Due to a medical condition, I was unable to travel. I immediately informed Tickets.com.tr and submitted all necessary medical reports and health documents. Despite this, after months of back-and-forth communication, they refused to issue a refund for my SalamAir ticket.

They initially claimed they would contact SalamAir to process my refund. For nearly 8 months, I was told to wait as they handled it. Eventually, I reached out to SalamAir directly via email—only to learn that they had never received any such request or email from Tickets.com.tr. I then asked Tickets.com.tr to share any proof of correspondence with SalamAir. They never provided it.

After all this time, they sent me a message saying the effort spent on emails equaled the ticket price, and that I would receive no refund. This is completely unacceptable. Health-related cancellations are eligible for refunds under standard airline passenger rights when properly documented. I was misled and mistreated.

I demand a full refund and a formal apology. Please resolve this issue within 14 days.

Why don't they mention that I visited the Taxim sales office of Turkish Airlines multiple times but did not receive a refund? The received email states, "We cannot process refunds for tickets older than 2 years. In your previous feedback responses, you were instructed to visit one of our sales offices because agency tickets cannot be refunded by our call center." But I have visited the Turkey sales office many times. I spoke with the representative there, gave my email address and phone number, but they did not contact me. The refund amount is (RS. 13,602 or 4,413.01 TL). I just want my money back. I only want my refund, nothing else. I am attaching the last email I received from Turkish Airlines here."
