Threads Keeps Showing an Error When I Try to Delete My Account

I have been trying to permanently delete my Threads account for some time, but every time I attempt to do so through the app, I receive an “Error occurred” message, and the process never completes. This issue has persisted since the day I first submitted my deletion request, and I still cannot close my account.

Despite trying repeatedly through the app and making additional attempts at different times, nothing changes and there is no progress. I have also not received any response from the Threads support team regarding this issue.

I request the permanent deletion of my account and ask that Threads complete the deletion process on my behalf, since the error has prevented me from doing so myself. I would also like to be informed of the outcome. Please investigate this issue and help me ensure that my account is fully and permanently closed.
