The North Face Shoes Gift Exchange Refused Due to Box Absence

On September 29, 2024, I went to The North Face store to exchange a pair of shoes gifted to me on September 26, 2024. Although the shoes had never been worn, I carried them in the store bag since an accident had left a drink spilled on the box. The store manager, Mr. S**** E****, bluntly informed me that the exchange was impossible without the original box. My spouse, a lawyer, tried to explain that this policy contradicts Consumer Rights Law, but the manager rudely dismissed us, saying, “Bring anyone you want—even the president—and I still won’t exchange it.” His aggressive tone and gestures were both unnecessary and unprofessional. This incident is recorded on store security footage. I demand a swift response from The North Face to resolve this issue, or I will take legal action.
