I purchased The North Face Hedgehog Futurelight shoes in 2022 from Etichet. Although I used the product only in daily city life under completely normal conditions, the mesh area on the front toe section tore within a short period of time. The shoes were never exposed to impact, harsh use, or heavy outdoor conditions.
For comparison, I still actively use the same model that I purchased in 2019. Despite using that older pair for years in villages, mountains, and rough terrain, it has only experienced natural wear and tear, with no similar tearing issue. In contrast, the 2022 version tearing quickly under light, urban use clearly shows a significant decline in product quality between the two versions.
Considering the expected lifespan of a shoe in this segment, such early damage at the toe area is unacceptable. I contacted the Etichet store where I made the purchase, but no solution was offered. I have already provided the invoice along with images and purchase records of both the 2019 and 2022 products.
Under consumer protection laws, I consider this product defective and request either a full refund or a replacement. I expect a prompt and customer-focused resolution.
