My The North Face Waterproof Shoes Tore After 1 Year

Hello, I’m extremely disappointed with the waterproof shoes I purchased from The North Face in 2024. As shown in the attached photo, the condition of the shoes after just one year is completely unacceptable. I paid a premium price expecting durability and long-term performance. Instead, the upper part of one shoe is completely torn, and the other is clearly on its way to falling apart too.
If this were an issue with the sole, I might understand it being blamed on wear and tear. But how do you explain the ripping of the upper material in such a short time—especially from a brand that prides itself on rugged quality?
I expected so much better from The North Face. I’m calling on the company to inspect the product and offer a fair resolution, whether through repair, replacement, or refund. A shoe marketed as high-performance outdoor gear shouldn’t look like this after just one season of use.
