esla Has Kept My Model Y in the Shop Past the Legal Repair Deadline
On November 17, 2025, while traveling from Konya to Ankara, I was involved in an accident with my Tesla Model Y on the Konya ring road. Since that day, my vehicle has been waiting for repairs at Tur Oto, Tesla’s authorized service center in Ankara. Despite the time that has passed, both Tesla and the service center state that certain parts cannot be supplied or sourced, and they are unable to provide any clear information about when my vehicle will be repaired and returned. Legally, the repair must be completed within 45 business days, and as of today, this legal period has already expired, yet the uncertainty continues.
I have spoken with Tesla five times and Tur Oto three times. I was first told the vehicle would be delivered on December 22, then January 5, then postponed to January 13, and most recently I was told it might be January 19, with no guarantee. I cannot understand why I am being treated this way despite the fact that the parts supply issue is Tesla’s own responsibility, why no firm delivery date can be given, and why my request for a replacement vehicle has been denied.
My vehicle’s license plate number is 06 AOG 167. I demand that Tesla complete the repair of my vehicle immediately and provide a replacement vehicle to compensate for the hardship caused by this extended repair period. Furthermore, if it is true that many vehicles are waiting in service due to parts shortages, I believe Tesla should resolve these issues before continuing sales in Turkey and should not leave existing customers in this situation.
